About the Role:
- We are seeking a Practice Director to lead our Artificial Intelligence (AI) research and advisory agenda.
- This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for thought leadership development, market engagement, and client delivery.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the AI technology ecosystem-including generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning (ML), intelligent automation-and experience advising clients across technology strategy and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Everest Group's AI-focused research, including PEAK Matrix- assessments, market reports, and proprietary frameworks
- Manage client advisory engagements, providing high-quality insights on AI strategy, vendor selection, and transformation execution
- Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson at external forums, client briefings, webinars, and media interactions
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts; guide research agendas, delivery quality, and professional development
- Drive proactive high-value engagement (PHE) with stakeholders across enterprise clients, service providers, and technology firms
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, shape proposals, and support business development
- Build and maintain strong executive relationships within the AI and broader digital ecosystem
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience in research, consulting, or strategic advisory roles with a focus on AI technology
- Proven expertise in problem-solving, market analysis, client engagement, and solutioning in the AI space
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders and represent the firm externally
- Experience leading high-performing teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent storytelling, synthesis, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with research methodologies, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with visualisation or modelling tools is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MTech, or equivalent) strongly preferred
