Job Summary:
The role involves working at the intersection of business and technology to design, enhance, and scale automation-driven products and platforms across teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in product development/automation initiatives, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Domain with Index basic knowledge is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business and technical teams (internal and external vendors) to develop and implement automation solutions and platforms.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into product features, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Support product lifecycle activities including requirement gathering, prioritization, testing, and rollout.
- Work with the development team to define optimal technical solutions and implementation approaches.
- Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of developed solutions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation-led enhancements.
- Contribute to defining product vision, roadmap, and strategy in collaboration with product owners.
- Identify synergies across existing tools/products and support the creation of a unified product portfolio.
- Ensure timely delivery of tasks with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or platform-led transformation roles within Index is preferred.
- Strong understanding of index lifecycle (design, onboarding, backtesting, calculation, rebalancing, reporting) and cross-asset coverage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and technology vendors to drive end-to-end development.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines.
- Certifications such as Certified Product Owner (CSPO), AI/ ML or equivalent is an additive thing.
