This approach enables us to design and manage processes that can generate and harness insights on a large scale, significantly cutting costs and timescales and helping businesses that partner with us to overtake the competition.   We work with clients across a wide range of industries and business functions, helping them to make better decisions faster; reach new levels of efficiency and effectiveness; and see a tangible impact on their top and bottom line.   Position description/Department : Investment Research (Equity Research)   Job description :   Onshore role for research associate support for sell-side research analyst (institutional equities) of a Global investment bank   - Collecting financial data using on-line and other data sources such as Bloomberg and Reuters   - Coordinating and maintaining databases   - Historical model building and developing forecasts   - Developing company's operating metrics in conjunction with their relevance in different sectors/ companies   - Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA etc   - Extensive report-writing including company profiles, earning notes, quarterly updates, initiating coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters technology primers, Flash notes, Theme-based reports etc   - Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls and even conducting management interviews   - Developing road-show presentations   - Handling adhoc research requests as per client requirements   Skill Set Required :   - Good MS Office Skills   - Strong Accounting and financial skills   - Decent financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting such as Company Description).   - Well versed in building full dynamic model with forecasting and valuation (DCF, multiple valuations, SOTP, DDM, etc)   - Knowledge of database tools - Bloomberg, Reuters and other financial data systems   - Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills   Education and Experience :   - Must be a MBA (Finance) from Tier 1 Institute or a CA (1st attempt qualified) ; CFA(US) / B.Tech would be an added advantage   - 1-7 years of Equity Research experience in Power / Capital Goods / Midcaps Sector.
