We'll trust you to: - Tracking all the major economic and financial indicators for preferably US and analyzing their possible impact on financial markets. - Understanding the various inter-linkages between the macro and financial indicators internal to the country as well as external. - Having a good knowledge of databases, handle a lot of data, create charts, presentations, work on complicated excel VBA/MATLAB/R or Python based models and use various statistical methods of forecasting the same. - Write reports, commentaries and compile news roundups. - Handle ad hoc research requests as per requirements. We'd love to see: - Up to 3 years of work experience in data analytics, statistics. Quantitative research or similar role. - Must have experience of using at least one of the popular programming languages like C, R, JAVA or Python. - Eye for detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively and on time. - Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of database tools -Haver, Reuters, Bloomberg, and other financial databases; various central bank and statistical websites - is an added advantage.
