Position: Inventory Manager.

Location: Euler Motor Plant, Palwal.

Department: Inventory.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimise all inventory operations at our Palwal manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless flow of materials, maintain accurate stock levels, and implement efficient inventory control systems to support Euler Motor's production goals and financial objectives.


Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Control & Optimization: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.


- Utilize techniques such as Just-in-Time (JIT), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and ABC Analysis to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages.

- Goods Received Note (GRN) Management: Oversee the GRN process to verify that all goods received match purchase orders in quantity and quality.

- Ensure accurate documentation, timely stock updates, and resolution of discrepancies.

- Job Work Coordination: Manage the end-to-end process of sending semi-finished goods to job workers and receiving them back.


- Ensure GRN is raised upon return to validate receipts and maintain accurate inventory records.

- Inventory Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular cycle counts, physical audits, and reconciliation activities.


- Prepare detailed reports on inventory accuracy, turnover rates, and discrepancies for management review.

- Team & Warehouse Management: Supervise inventory staff and warehouse operations.


- Optimize warehouse layouts for efficient storage and retrieval, and enforce safety protocols.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance teams to forecast demand, plan replenishment, and address supply chain challenges.


Key Requirements & Qualifications


Education & Certification:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

- Certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred.

Experience:

- Proven 7+ experience as an Inventory Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.

- Hands-on experience with GRN processes, job work management, and inventory audits.

- Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and barcode

technology.


Skills & Competencies:


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for demand forecasting and data analysis.

- Knowledge of inventory methodologies (e.g., FIFO, safety stock, reorder points).
