Position Summary:

- The Assessment Expert will serve as a psychometric expert to lead work on a State Education Assessment project and other projects.

- They will plan, coordinate, and conduct the statistical work required to support the establishment and success of the contract for the external client.

- This Assessment Expert will demonstrate expertise in developing competency/learning outcome-based materials for formative and summative assessments for school readiness.

- This role will be based in Guwahati and the successful candidate must be willing and able to commute to this location

Minimum Qualification:

- Post-graduate degree in Education/educational measurement/ statistics/ economics /mathematics.

- Specific certification in assessment and psychometrics

Required Experience:

- 10+ years of professional experience of experience in assessment development, preferably for the foundational grades

- Experience in developing and delivering training modules/manuals on pedagogy, assessments, and data use

- Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to work with SCERT, DIETs, and teachers.

- Experience in Education Assessment project for government entity is preferred.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-stakeholder environments, including with government agencies or education boards.

- Experience in creating reports, presentations, and operational documentation for large-scale projects.

- Familiarity with data collection tools, survey platforms, and analysis methodologies.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and online survey platforms.

- Familiarity with education and assessment frameworks.
