ETS India - Project Manager - Assessment

Position Summary:

- The Project Manager - Assessment Specialist will manage and lead large-scale government education assessment projects through tool design, psychometric analysis, IRT-based methodologies, and end-to-end project planning and coordination.

- This role will be based in Guwahati and the successful candidate must be willing and able to commute to this location

Minimum Qualification:

Post-graduate/master's or equivalent management studies, social sciences from recognized institute

Desirable Qualification:

Published research or policy papers in educational assessment.

Required Experience:

- 8+ years of professional experience in social sector as a project manager of which minimum 6 years of experience working within the education or development practice is required.

- Experience in leading at least three large-scale education reform projects, preferably with the Government.

- Experience in Education Assessment project for government entity is preferred.

- Proficiency in tool design and psychometric analysis.

- Proven experience of working with Item Response theory (IRT PRO)

- Experience in leading assessment initiatives focused on students learning outcomes.

- Hands-on experience in supporting project planning, coordination, and execution.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-stakeholder environments, including with government agencies or education boards.

- Experience in creating reports, presentations, and operational documentation for large-scale projects.

- Familiarity with data collection tools, survey platforms, and analysis methodologies.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and online survey platforms.
