Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver business-focused projects across cross-functional teams.
- This role emphasizes planning, coordination, stakeholder management, and execution rather than deep technical involvement.
- The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals, while maintaining clear communication and strong team engagement.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scope Management:
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in alignment with business requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans outlining phases, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Clearly define what is included and excluded from the project to avoid scope ambiguity.
- Establish governance structures, approval processes, and reporting mechanisms.
Project Execution & Control:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of projects from initiation to closure.
- Track progress against the project plan, budget, and timelines, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure each phase of the project remains within approved budgets and schedules.
- Monitor deliverables to ensure quality standards and business expectations are met.
Team & Resource Management:
- Identify project needs, including required resources, team members, and involvement from other departments.
- Coordinate team efforts, assign responsibilities, and provide clear direction to project participants.
- Manage day-to-day team activities and ensure accountability for assigned tasks.
- Motivate and support team members to achieve individual and project goals.
- Create a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages productivity and engagement.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings to discuss objectives, progress, risks, and next steps.
- Communicate project expectations clearly to teams, including explaining delivery approaches such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall in a simplified, business-friendly manner.
- Prepare and share clear, concise status reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
Risk & Change Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues early and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and priorities while minimizing impact on delivery.
- Handle compressed timelines or shifting requirements and realign plans to meet revised deadlines.
- Ensure change requests are documented, reviewed, and approved appropriately.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
- Track project performance and outcomes, documenting progress from start to finish.
- Conduct project reviews and evaluations to assess results and identify improvement opportunities.
Leadership & People Development:
- Empower team members by supporting skill development, confidence building, and effective communication.
- Encourage collaboration, ownership, and accountability across the project team.
- Address challenges constructively and share lessons learned from complex or demanding project situations.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Degree in business management, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in enterprise or ERP-related environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, coordination, and people management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under changing conditions.
Tools & Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project tracking tools and basic project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
