About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of IT software projects from initiation to closure.

This role demands a proactive leader who can effectively manage people, processes, and technology to ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and high-quality outcomes.

The Delivery Manager will serve as the key liaison between clients, project teams, and leadershipowning end-to-end accountability for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution

- Define and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and initiation to delivery and closure.

- Set clear project goals, scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.

- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Track project performance using project management tools and regularly report status to stakeholders.

Team & Resource Management

- Manage cross-functional project teams comprising developers, testers, designers, and business analysts.

- Allocate resources effectively and balance team workloads to optimize productivity.

- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable team environment.

- Assign responsibilities, set expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

- Manage client expectations and ensure proactive communication of project updates, risks, and issues.

Risk & Quality Management

- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies.

- Implement and enforce quality assurance standards to ensure deliverables meet required specifications.

- Manage change requests and control project scope without compromising delivery timelines.

Strategic & Operational Planning

- Contribute to product design and roadmap discussions, aligning delivery plans with strategic goals.

- Continuously improve project delivery frameworks and operational efficiency.

- Analyze project outcomes and identify lessons learned to enhance future project success.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- (PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications preferred.)

- 10 - 12 years of experience in project/delivery management, with at least 5 years leading IT software projects.

- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software solutions using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.

- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.

- Sound understanding of SDLC and modern software development practices.

- Hands-on experience in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.
