Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
- Identify, approach, and acquire new clients while managing relationships with existing customers.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers through targeted approaches, presentations, and negotiations.
- Engage with customers to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored air freight solutions.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring profitability targets are met.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure deals that align with company objectives.
- Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Address any customer issues promptly to ensure high service satisfaction and repeat business.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports, identifying areas for improvement and adjustments in strategy.
- Develop and Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are documented and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Implement client retention strategies and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
- Provide feedback to management on service and product improvements based on client feedback and market demands.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors/Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in sales within the logistics, preferably in Domestics air freight (D2D).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the domestic air freight industry and logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in D2D domestic air freight.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
