About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Analyst with expertise in International Taxation and Transfer Pricing to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with global and local tax regulations, supporting transfer pricing documentation, tax accounting, and advisory matters across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer Pricing (TP):
- Prepare, review, and maintain TP documentation and local files in compliance with OECD guidelines and local country regulations.
- Coordinate with global and regional teams to ensure smooth implementation of transfer pricing policies.
- Work closely with external TP advisors and provide data/analysis for benchmarking and
compliance reporting.
Corporate & International Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including Country-by-Country (CbC) Reporting and Master File requirements.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on Double Tax Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) and other cross-border tax matters.
- Review computations for advance tax, TDS, and other direct tax obligations in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
- Assist in tax audits, assessments, and liaison with tax authorities as required.
Tax Accounting & Compliance:
- Support in the preparation and review of current tax and deferred tax calculations.
- Contribute to the analysis and reporting of the Effective Tax Rate (ETR).
- Provide necessary documentation and support during statutory audits (IFRS/GAAP) from a tax perspective.
Withholding Tax (WHT):
- Determine appropriate WHT rates for cross-border payments, referencing relevant tax treaties.
- Ensure correct application of WHT regulations and provide advisory support on cross-border tax issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or Masters degree in Finance/Taxation/Accounting.
- 3-6 years of experience in International Taxation and Transfer Pricing (preferably with a Big4 or multinational organization).
- Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS framework, and DTAA provisions.
- Good understanding of Indian tax laws and global tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a global matrix environment.
