Position: - Assistant Manager -International Taxation & Transfer Pricing.
Location: Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing (TP) Coordination
- Coordinate with global teams to facilitate the implementation of transfer pricing policies.
Corporate Tax Matters:
- Having knowledge of tax treaties (Double Tax Avoidance Agreement) and able to do international tax research on such matters.
- Involved in ensuring compliance like Advance tax payment, TDS, computation, tax review with Corporate / Mgmt /tax advisors and Group /Finance Controller teams for group holding companies.
- Tax Research on tax technical issues.
- Contribute to the analysis of tax issues affecting the company.
Tax Accounting:
- Calculation & Analysis of Effective tax rate (ETR).
- Support for IFRS/GAAP audit from tax perspective.
Withholding Tax (WHT) Applicability:
- Reference to Tax Treaty for WHT applicability & rate.
Supportive Role:
- Supporting Tax analysis as per local and global Regulations for any tax advisory, structuring, acquisitions/M&A, projects.
Continuous Learning:
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of tax treaties, transfer pricing, and relevant frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualifications such as a CPA, CA, or equivalent.
- Background in Big 4 firms/MNCs in corporate tax and/or transfer pricing is preferred.
- International tax professional with good working knowledge of corporate tax (WHT, Tax Treaty, Tax Accounting) and transfer pricing.
- Understanding of global tax concepts, transfer pricing principles, and familiarity with relevant frameworks is needed.
- Having experience in Indian corporate tax including Transfer Pricing in MNCs will also be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to develop effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Critical thinker who can analyse and interpret technical tax legislation and papers, and present findings in an understandable format to non-tax colleagues.
- Able to self-manage and meet deadlines through planning, organization, and persistence.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and PPT skills.
