Manager, Product Operations
The role:
- Connect business priorities to technical execution by clarifying ambiguity, helping to resolve blockers, and managing expectations.
- Supports investment planning including gathering supporting data and creating proposals for incremental funding to ensure teams can meet enterprise demand and priorities
- Partners with technology intake partners to manage intake requests and ensure delivery on highest priorities
- Builds impactful communications to executive leadership to provide transparency into end to end execution
- Acts as a subject matter expert in helping Network Products Product Managers to navigate the intake process
- Proposes recommendations for simplification and continuous improvement
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
- Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
- Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, (e.g. customer and stakeholder interactions)
- Prior experience in payments preferred.
- Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently.
- Strong project management skills (PMP or other recognized certification preferred).
- Experience with risk management and developing mitigation plans
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and manage complex projects; successfully manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Constant curiosity, willing to dive deep and learn about our technology, system structure, and rules.
- Analytical, data and problem-solving skills that go beyond the numbers; able to use data to tell a story and influence decision makers.
- Known for your ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, especially to executives, both written and verbal.
- Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides.
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic efforts; strong organization, attention to detail and task management is expected.
