Job Description: Chief Human Resources Head

Industry: Hospital

Experience Required: 15+ Years (10+ Years in Hospital)

Location: Gurgaon and Delhi

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director (MD)

Position Summary:

The Chief HR Head is responsible for leading the hospital's overall human resources strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains a high-performing workforce while fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and patient-centered care. The role provides strategic leadership across all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the hospital's HR strategy aligned with organizational goals.

- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.

- Drive culture transformation, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.

- Establish HR policies and governance frameworks that support sustainable growth.

- Lead recruitment strategies for clinical, nursing, administrative, and support staff.

- Ensure timely hiring of key medical professionals and leadership positions.

- Design and implement performance management systems and KPI frameworks.

- Create learning strategies for clinical and non-clinical employees.

- Foster a positive employee experience and healthy workplace culture.

- Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks.

- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, healthcare regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain harmonious industrial relations across hospital operations.

- Develop HR dashboards and workforce analytics.

- Prepare and manage the HR department budget.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, MBA (HR), or equivalent.

- Additional certifications in Strategic HR, Labour Laws, Organizational Development, or Healthcare HR are preferred.

Experience:

- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, (10+ Years in hospital) with significant leadership experience in multi-speciality hospitals or large healthcare organizations.

- Proven expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.

- Experience managing large, diverse workforces including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff.
