Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager at eShipz, you will play a pivotal role in the accounts group. You will assist to identify, assess, monitor, and report on the companys complete list of accounts and tax-related matters. You will bring a broad knowledge of tax law as well as keen business judgment. Your role is vital to the growth of the Company and will play a key role in developing and driving strategic decisions and improvements within the finance organization.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Monitor tax planning, post-merger, and acquisition activity to ensure such transaction(s) and other tax technical matters are appropriately addressed in tax returns.

- Proactively consider, analyze, and communicate the financial statement impact of business transactions, changes in business results, tax projects and legislative changes.

- Partner with various teams within the organization to meet the needs of the business including Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Legal, HR and Engineering.

- Educate cross-functional teams about tax risk and issues/opportunities arising from our activity.

- Work closely with external auditors to resolve issues and ensure timely sign-off.

- Monitor and refine internal controls over the income tax reporting process.

- Drive the resolution of corresponding with taxing authorities and new business initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate tax laws and should have experience in handling DueDiligence, Statutory audit & MIS Reporting.

- Hands-on Experience in GST, TDS & other statutory compliance.

- Experience in Zoho books/ Quick books is plus.

- Tax experience with companies in the start-up or newly public phase, either in-house or with a large public accounting firm showing progressive complexity in scope and responsibilities.

- SaaS industry experience is a plus.
