About: - We are seeking a seasoned Treasury Manager to oversee and manage the organisation and cash flow, payments, forex management, supplier financing, and banking relationships. - The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of payment processes, banking operations, and will be instrumental in optimising financial operations. - The role also includes program monitoring, managing banking relationships, and leading a team to ensure the organisation's financial health and efficiency. - Strong analytical skills and critical team management capabilities are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Cash Management: - Oversee and manage the organisation's daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity. - Develop strategies to optimise cash balances and maximise interest income or minimise interest expenses. Payments and Forex Management: - Ensure the efficient processing of all payment transactions, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements. - Manage foreign exchange transactions and hedging activities to minimise currency risk. - Monitor and forecast currency needs and movements to support international transactions. Supplier Financing: - Develop and manage supplier financing programs to optimise working capital and support supplier relationships. - Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and financial institutions to secure favourable financing options. Banking Operations: - Oversee all aspects of banking operations, including the management of bank accounts, treasury systems, and transaction processing. - Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies. - Implement and maintain efficient banking processes and procedures. Program Monitoring: - Monitor and evaluate the performance of treasury programs and initiatives. - Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and best practices. Banking Relationship Management: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions. - Negotiate banking terms, fees, and services to benefit the organisation. - Manage and monitor banking operations, including account management, credit facilities, and loan agreements. Team Management: - Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management. - Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Analytical Abilities: - Analyse financial data and market trends to make informed decisions regarding cash flow, investments, and risk management. - Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations on treasury activities. Qualifications: - Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in cash management, payments, forex management, supplier financing, and banking operations. - Strong knowledge of payment processes and banking operations. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and negotiation skills.
