As a Account Manager - Social Media , you will be responsible for managing client social media accounts end-to-end, ensuring brand presence is consistent, engaging, and results-driven.
You will plan, execute, and monitor campaigns across platforms, coordinate with creative teams, and be the bridge between clients and internal stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for client social media accounts.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding goals, addressing concerns, and sharing performance updates.
- Collaborate with clients on campaign briefs, strategies, and creative direction.
Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Create social media calendars aligned with brand tone, campaign goals, and industry trends.
- Monitor competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Content Coordination & Campaign Execution:
- Coordinate with design, copywriting, and video teams to deliver engaging creatives.
- Ensure timely execution and posting of content across channels.
- Write/oversee compelling captions, hashtags, and CTAs.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, impressions, CTR, and conversions.
- Analyze campaign results and prepare reports with actionable insights.
- Suggest data-driven improvements to maximize performance.
Trendspotting & Innovation:
- Stay up to date with platform updates, emerging trends, and viral content opportunities.
- Experiment with new formats (Reels, Stories, Live sessions, etc.) to keep brands relevant.
- Propose innovative campaign ideas to strengthen brand identity.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven experience in social media marketing/management, preferably in an agency setup.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, algorithms, and content best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
- Ability to interpret social media analytics and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with client-facing experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Creative flair with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
Nice to have:
- Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Knowledge of basic design or video editing tools (Canva, Adobe tools, CapCut, etc.
- Exposure to influencer collaborations, UGC campaigns, or community management.
- Passion for digital storytelling and emerging social platforms (TikTok, Threads, etc.
