Technical Program Manager (10-15 yrs)

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong Data Engineering background to lead complex, cross-functional data initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end program delivery, collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of scalable data platform and analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics programs.

- Drive program planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

- Coordinate with Data Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and Business teams.

- Manage project timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Ensure successful delivery of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data solutions.

- Monitor program KPIs, milestones, and overall delivery health.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove delivery roadblocks.

- Identify and mitigate program risks while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

- Present program status and executive updates to senior leadership.

Required Skills:

- 8-12 years of IT experience with 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager or Technical Project Manager.

- Strong background in Data Engineering and large-scale data platforms.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Hands-on understanding of SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT frameworks.

- Experience with technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, and modern data warehouses.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience delivering enterprise-scale data modernization or digital transformation programs.

- Exposure to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security initiatives.

- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification is a plus.

- Experience working in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Technology domains is preferred.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
