About the Role:

We are hiring for a Buy-Side Equity Research - Rated Analyst role focusing on the Auto & Auto Ancillary sector with a leading investment management firm.

The role involves conducting in-depth fundamental research on listed companies, identifying investment opportunities, developing investment theses and contributing to investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies in the Auto & Auto Ancillary sector.

- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through detailed company and industry analysis.

- Build and maintain financial and valuation models.

- Analyse company financials, earnings, business performance and growth prospects.

- Track industry trends, regulatory developments and company-specific developments.

- Develop investment theses and stock recommendations.

- Prepare detailed research reports and investment notes.

- Participate in management interactions, analyst meets and conference calls.

- Monitor covered companies and track developments relevant to investment decisions.

Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of experience in Equity Research.

- Experience as a rated analyst covering Auto & Auto Ancillary companies.

- Prior Buy-Side Equity Research experience is preferred.

- Strong fundamental research, financial modelling and valuation skills.

- Good understanding of financial statements and business analysis.

- Strong analytical, stock-picking and report-writing skills.
