Equity Research Analyst - US Software Sector

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research Analyst with mandatory coverage of the US Software sector. The role involves deep fundamental research, financial modeling, and generating actionable investment insights for global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth equity research on companies within the US Software sector

- Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, comparable valuation, etc.)

- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and industry trends

- Track macroeconomic and sector-specific developments impacting software companies

- Prepare research reports, investment notes, and client presentations

- Interact with management teams, industry experts, and stakeholders

- Provide buy/sell/hold recommendations backed by strong analytical reasoning

- Support portfolio managers and clients with timely insights and updates

Mandatory Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Research

- Hands-on coverage of the US Software sector (must-have)

- Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques

- Solid understanding of technology/software business models (SaaS, Cloud, etc.)

- Experience working with global markets, preferably US equities

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent qualification

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
