Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Equity Research Analyst to support our Private Wealth Management team in delivering superior investment outcomes for Ultra High Net Worth (UHNI) clients. The role focuses on in-depth research across sectors, stock selection, and thematic opportunities to generate alpha over benchmarks within client portfolios. It also requires close collaboration with the Relationship and Advisory teams to ensure investment strategies are effectively communicated to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on listed equities across sectors with a focus on long-term wealth creation.

- Identify and evaluate high-conviction stock ideas and investment themes aligned with portfolio strategy.

- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, sector reports, and valuation frameworks.

- Track earnings updates, corporate actions, and industry trends impacting portfolio holdings.

- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Product Teams to build and refine model portfolios.

- Provide regular market and stock-level updates to UHNI clients in coordination with the Relationship Management team.

- Present research findings and investment cases to internal stakeholders and clients.

- Contribute to thought leadership by preparing investment notes, whitepapers, and sector outlooks.

Candidate Profile:

- MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification.

- 3-7 years of relevant experience in equity research, portfolio advisory, or asset management preferably in a PWM or HNI advisory setup.

- Strong command over valuation techniques, financial modeling, and investment frameworks.

- Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate clearly to a sophisticated UHNI audience.

- Passionate about equity markets, with a deep understanding of macroeconomic and sectoral drivers.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
