This role reports to the Head of Research / Lead Analyst for the industry

Job description:

Responsibilities:

- Conduct channel checks and collect insights from the market on what is happening on ground with respect to companies in the sector.

- Translate qualitative insights into quantitative data, incorporating the findings into financial models to assess potential impacts on company margins and valuations.

- Work closely with the Lead Analyst/ Head of Research to support new stock initiations and contribute to the generation of fresh stock ideas; research is published exclusively for institutional investors.

- Create, maintain, and update data in financial models, along with tables and graphs that clearly illustrate the information

- Develop databases integral to our research product.

- Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment.

- Work with other Analysts/ Head of Research to develop key industry themes.

- Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies.

- Participate and contribute to client meetings and events.

Location: Ahmedabad

Requirement Specification (Qualifications & Experience):

- MBA from a reputed institute

- Strong understanding of valuable techniques and financial modelling

- 4-7 years of relevant experience in the power industry or on the sell-side

- Strong Fundamentals and sound technical knowledge in financial domain

- Good report writing Skills

- Fluent communication skill
