Equity Research Analyst - Mid & Small Cap

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundamental Research

- Build detailed financial models (3-5 years projections)

- Perform valuation (DCF, relative, SOTP where relevant)

- Publish initiation, quarterly updates, and thematic reports

2. Differentiated Insights (Critical)

- Conduct channel checks (dealers, suppliers, competitors)

- Track management quality & capital allocation

- Identify early sector inflection points

3. Sector Tracking

- Develop deep expertise in assigned sectors:

o Industrials / manufacturing

o Energy transition

o Infrastructure / capital goods

o Pharma and Health care

4. Corporate Access

- Participate in management meetings

- Generate insights beyond earnings calls

5. Idea Generation

- Generate high-conviction BUY/SELL ideas

- Maintain a model portfolio

Candidate Profile

- 5 - 8 years experience in equity research / buy-side / consulting

- Strong financial modelling skills

- Prior coverage of mid/small caps preferred

- CFA / CA / MBA (Tier 1 preferred but not mandatory)
