Equity Research Analyst - Institutional Equities

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Equity Research Analyst to join our Institutional Equities desk in South Mumbai, focusing exclusively on the Midcap segment. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting deep-dive fundamental research, building complex financial models, and generating high-conviction investment ideas that drive decision-making for our institutional clients. You will work closely with the broader research team, sales traders, and fund managers to articulate investment theses and navigate market volatility. Your insights will directly influence the portfolio allocations of top-tier domestic and global institutional investors, positioning you as a key thought leader in the Indian capital markets ecosystem.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

- 1. To track, understand and analyze industries and companies in the sector.

- 2. Meet corporates in the sector as well as attend analyst meets and annual general meetings to expand his knowledge horizon.

- 3. Brainstorm & formulate new investment ideas.

- 4. Preparing investment research reports and other reports like industry analysis, market scenario analysis etc.

- 5. Communicate investment ideas to clients in the form of industry/company research reports, presentations and oral communication.

- 6. Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of ideas to clients.

- 7. Co-ordinate with sales and business development team, and other business verticals.
