Equity Research Analyst - Healthcare & Pharmaceutical

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst with strong expertise in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector. The role involves deep fundamental research, financial modeling, and providing investment insights to support portfolio decision-making. The candidate will be responsible for tracking sector developments, analyzing companies, and presenting actionable investment recommendations to senior investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.

- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models including valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

- Track sector trends, regulatory changes, drug pipelines, and competitive dynamics.

- Analyze company performance, earnings, and management strategies.

- Prepare investment notes, research reports, and actionable stock recommendations.

- Support portfolio managers in investment decision-making and portfolio construction.

- Present detailed findings and insights to senior team members in a structured manner.

- Continuously update models and assumptions based on market and company developments.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6 - 8 years of experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side).

- Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare / Pharma sector.

- Hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, relative valuation, etc.).

- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.

- Experience tracking regulatory and industry developments impacting the sector.

- Excellent analytical, research, and decision-support skills.

- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
