ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join our research team. The successful candidate will provide actionable investment and strategic insights, working closely with the fund management team.

- Industrial Machinery & Equipment

- Electrical Equipment & Components

- Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)

- Defence & Aerospace Manufacturing

- Building Materials & Infrastructure Ancillaries

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and analyse investment opportunities alongside the fund management team.

- Conduct statistical analysis of economic data, fundamentals, and sector correlations.

- Iterate on financial models and investment research with the fund manager.

- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and company databases.

- Track KPIs and flag material developments across covered companies.

- Prepare research reports, presentations, and investment briefs for stakeholders.

DESIRED PROFILE:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Indian capital goods or industrials sector research.

- Strong fundamental research capability - business models, financials, industry structure, management quality, and valuation.

- Prior experience in institutional equities, buy-side research, PMS/AIF, brokerage, or consulting preferred.

- Intellectual curiosity with the ability to articulate investment ideas with depth, nuance, and conviction.

- Candidates who combine analytical rigour with a long-term investing mindset are strongly encouraged to apply.
