Equity Research Analyst - Buy Side - Securities Firm

We at Fynehand are mandated to work on an Equity research analyst role with a leading securities firm.

The candidate will be working very closely with the Fund Manager across various Mid & Small cap sectors like and will be working on growing the portfolio.

This firm was founded in 1997 as a category 2 merchant banking firm. The group then expanded into other financial services including stock broking, NBFC, wealth and private equity.

The group runs a ~INR 400cr prop equity book and is looking to grow the same and is hiring someone with buy side equity experience.

As an Equity Research Analyst (Buy side), you will be responsible for providing thorough financial analysis and market research to support investment decisions. You will work closely with portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities and risks, develop financial models, and present your findings to the investment team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies and market trends.

- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance.

- Generate investment ideas and provide actionable recommendations.

- Monitor industry news, earnings releases, and other market events.

- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for the investment team.

- Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize investment strategies.

- Attend company meetings, conferences, and industry events.
