About the Role:

We are hiring for a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst role with a leading investment management firm.

The role involves conducting in-depth fundamental research on listed companies across sectors, identifying investment opportunities, developing investment theses and contributing to investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies across sectors.

- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through detailed company and industry analysis.

- Build and maintain financial and valuation models.

- Analyse company financials, earnings, business performance and growth prospects.

- Track industry trends, regulatory developments and company-specific developments.

- Develop investment theses and stock recommendations.

- Prepare detailed research reports and investment notes.

- Participate in management interactions, analyst meets and conference calls.

- Monitor covered companies and track developments relevant to investment decisions.

Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of experience in Equity Research.

- Experience in Buy-Side Equity Research is preferred.

- Sector-agnostic candidates with strong fundamental research and stock-picking skills are welcome.

- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.

- Good understanding of financial statements and business analysis.

- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

- Candidates from PMS, AIF, Asset Management Companies and other investment management firms will be preferred.
