Equity Research Analyst - Buy Side

Role: Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research on assigned sectors

- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks

- Support the Fund Manager in portfolio construction and stock selection

- Perform industry and company-level analysis, including tracking earnings, news, and developments

- Work closely with the investment team in a buy-side to buy-side environment

- Assist in investment notes, presentations, and internal discussions

- Utilize derivatives for hedging/portfolio efficiency, as required by the strategy

Eligibility & Skill Requirements:

Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CA

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant buy-side equity research experience

- Strong understanding of equity markets and valuation methodologies

- Hands-on exposure to derivatives (preferrable)

- Experience working on long-only investment strategies preferred
