Equity Research Analyst - Buy Side

Buyside Equity Research Analyst

Nature of Work:

- Developing investment thesis on a particular stock independently

- Performing industry analysis (key trends, key players and their competitive strategies, etc.) Benchmarking of key industry players' main operational performance metrics

- Performing financial statement analyses and valuation analyses of companies

- Monitoring news, business trends and financial results of the investee companies and its competitors

- Meeting companies and their competitors, suppliers, and customers to conduct primary research Listening to quarterly conference calls, reading annual reports, attending conferences and preparing summary meeting & call notes

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Related work experience of 3-4 years in equity research, preferably buy-side Self-driven, resourceful, go-getter attitude, with high integrity

- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills Strong written and spoken communication skills Bachelors or graduate degree in Economics/Business/Math/Engg.

- CA and/or CFA will be a definite advantage
