We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Equity Research Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of publicly traded companies, industries, and market trends. You will collaborate closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to generate investment recommendations and contribute to the overall investment strategy. Your insights will directly impact investment decisions, driving portfolio performance and delivering value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, build detailed financial models, and perform valuation analysis to assess the investment potential of companies.

- Develop and maintain industry knowledge by monitoring industry trends, attending industry conferences, and analyzing competitive landscapes to provide insightful perspectives.

- Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations summarizing key findings, investment recommendations, and potential risks for internal stakeholders and clients.

- Communicate investment ideas and research findings effectively to portfolio managers and other investment professionals to support informed decision-making.

- Monitor and analyze company news, earnings releases, and other relevant information to stay abreast of developments that may impact investment recommendations.

- Collaborate with other analysts and research teams to share insights and contribute to a collaborative research environment to enhance the overall quality of research output.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous financial analysis, build complex financial models, and conduct valuation analysis using various methodologies.

- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic principles.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in equity research or a related field.

- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Pune.
