Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities -

- Looking for an experienced Equity Research Analyst with 3-5 years of expertise in emerging markets, particularly Asia and India.

- Responsible for conducting thorough equity research on companies across diverse sectors in these regions.

- Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic indicators to identify investment opportunities.

- Build, maintain, and refine financial models to project company performance and valuations.

- Prepare comprehensive research reports and actionable investment recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

- Track, interpret, and assess market developments and news that could influence investment strategies.

- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and team members to share insights and discuss investment ideas.

- Ensure timely updates of databases and research tools to maintain accuracy and relevance of information.

Qualifications -

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; CFA or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in equity research, with emphasis on emerging markets, especially Asia and India.

- Strong analytical capability to interpret and synthesize complex financial data.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey insights clearly.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- High attention to detail coupled with strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with financial research platforms/tools.
