Equity Relationship Manager

Role Overview

The Equity Relationship Manager is a client-facing sales role requiring 3-7 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically focusing on equity broking and wealth management.

Located in Indore, the Primary Responsibility is revenue generation and Asset gathering through various financial products and services.

The incumbent must possess strong sales acumen for Equity sales to all clients of the branch with special focus on HNI clients and generating Net Interest Income (NII) through Margin Trade Funding (MTF).

Job Summary

We are seeking a performance-driven Equity Relationship Manager (37 years experience) responsible for achieving branch overall equity broking targets by maximizing revenue from equity, commodity, and equity-related products.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in profiling clients, providing advisory services, and executing online trades.

Key deliverables include generating Net Interest Income (NII) through Margin Trade Funding (MTF), acquiring new high-value clients, activating trading accounts, and advising clients on market conditions and suitable financial products based on their defined risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities and Financial Services Deliverables

Revenue Generation and Sales:

- Revenue generation from equity, commodity & equity products to consistently meet branch overall equity broking targets.

- Drive Equity sales to all clients of the branch with special focus on HNI clients (High Net Worth Individuals).

- Generate Net Interest Income through Margin Trade Funding (MTF) as per assigned targets, ensuring product penetration and compliance.

- Acquiring new clients & generate substantial revenues from new clients through effective lead conversion and relationship building.

Asset Gathering and Advisory:

- Asset gathering through various advisory products, including Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, and other structured equity products.

- Profiling Clients & Suggesting financial products (Equity) to meet specific customer needs as per their assessed risk appetite.

- Advising clients with requisite information regarding the market condition, economic trends, and sector-specific developments.

Trading and Client Servicing:

- Responsible for activation of trading account of clients and onboarding new users.

- Assisting new entrants in the equity market to understand the dynamics of market trading, risks, and regulatory framework.

- Help customers to Execute trades online and place orders on behalf of customers via various trading platforms.

- Ensure timely confirmation of orders and trades done during the day to clients, maintaining high standards of service and transparency.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 3-7 Years in equity broking, wealth management, or financial advisory.

- Product Knowledge: Expertise in Equity, Commodity, IPOs, ETFs, and Margin Trade Funding (MTF).

- Sales Focus: Proven ability to drive Revenue generation and Asset gathering with a focus on HNI clients.

- Advisory Skills: Proficiency in Profiling Clients and providing tailored advice based on risk appetite.

- Compliance: Understanding of trading account activation, order execution, and market regulations.

Preferred Skills

- Relevant certification (e.g., NISM certifications).

- Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software specific to wealth management.

- Strong local network within the Indore market for HNI acquisition.

- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting market data and delivering trade ideas
