Equity Capital Markets - IPO Syndication

Location: Mumbai

Experience Profile:

- 7-9 years of experience in the Investment Banking sector, particularly in Equity Capital Markets (ECM).

- Hands-on experience across IPO, QIP, Buyback, FPO, Rights Issue, Open Offer, FCCB and GDR/ADR issues, with a strong focus on Syndication, Coverage and Placements.

Key Skills:

- Proven track record in syndication of Equity Capital Market mandates.

- Strong relationships with institutional investors, large corporates, financial institutions and capital market participants.

- Excellent investor relationship management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain up-to-date databases of investor preferences, allocations and feedback.

- Identify and target domestic and international institutional investors in coordination with the Investment Banking and Sales teams.

- Participate in investor selection meetings and coordinate investor allocation strategies.

- Coordinate meetings between issuers, investors and other lead managers for roadshows and marketing activities.

- Build and strengthen relationships with institutional investors through regular interactions and deal marketing.

- Track market sentiment, recent ECM transactions, investor behaviour and deal flow.

- Collaborate with Sales teams to assess investor appetite before and during live transactions.

- Monitor demand, pricing and investor feedback throughout deal execution.

- Provide competitive analysis on transaction pricing, structure and market timing.

- Support the book-building process and investor allocation.

- Ensure confidentiality and manage conflict-of-interest situations throughout the transaction lifecycle.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Investment Banking, Execution, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Research teams for seamless deal execution.

- Prepare deal memos, allocation reports and post-transaction analysis.

- Support the successful execution of IPOs, FPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Buybacks and Block Trades.

- Share investor feedback and market insights with the origination team to support future mandates.
