Equity Capital Markets Origination Role - Investment Banking

ECM Origination:

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Origination team. The role involves identifying and originating equity fundraising opportunities, building relationships with promoters and key market participants, and supporting the acquisition of new ECM mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and originate IPO, SME IPO, Mainboard IPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Preferential Issue, and other equity fundraising mandates.

- Identify companies with capital raising requirements and build a strong origination pipeline.

- Build and manage relationships with promoters, founders, CXOs, Chartered Accountants, Merchant Bankers, Investment Bankers, Corporate Lawyers, Financial Advisors, and other ecosystem partners.

- Prepare pitch presentations and assist in client meetings.

- Track market activity and identify potential fundraising opportunities across sectors.

- Coordinate with internal execution teams for seamless transition of mandates.

Eligibility:

- 2 - 6 years of experience in ECM Origination, Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets.

- Hands-on exposure to IPO origination and equity fundraising transactions.

- Strong business development and relationship management skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

- Candidates from Merchant Banking firms, Investment Banks, Capital Market Advisory firms, or Corporate Finance teams will be preferred.
