JOB DESCRIPTION FOR EQUITIES ANALYST ROLE AT FAMILY OFFICE


Designation: Analyst-Listed equities (Exp 2 to 3 years)


Overview: A multi-asset class investment firm with exposure across listed equities, unlisted companies, and private equity funds. The firm manages the proprietary capital has emerged as one of Indias most trusted and transformative real estate institutions. Over three decades, the Group has delivered more than 78 million square feet of completed projects and has an additional 71 million square feet under development, with a presence across major metros and rapidly growing tier-2 cities and supports its portfolio companies through multiple stages of their growth and evolution. While our approach remains largely sector-agnostic, our focus centres on businesses positioned for sustainable growth, aspiring to carve a niche as market leaders. Preferred sectors include the dynamic realms of the Consumption Economy, finance, B2B SaaS, and Healthcare. Within listed equities, the firm deploys capital into stocks and invests in PMS funds as well.


Role description: Work alongside the equities team to identify and invest in suitable opportunities in the listed space in India. Responsibilities include:


- Assist in discovering and evaluating new investment opportunities along with the senior investment team in the firms sectors of preference.


- Driving meaningful research into sectors of interest, supporting the formulation of bottoms up thesis, and tracking market data and trends for actionable insights.


- Preparing financial models and maintaining other relevant deal team documentation.


- Tracking of portfolio reports including quarterly results and presenting summary dashboards to the senior investment team for decision making.


Location: Bangalore


Educational qualification: Graduate/Post graduate degree or relevant professional qualifications from top tier institutes. Additional qualifications such as CFA or CAIA will be valuable.


Job specifications:


- 2-3 Years of prior experience working in buy side research, equities funds, or family offices.


- Good communication skills and ability to collaboratively work alongside the existing team.


- Ability to see the bigger picture and help position the firm strongly in its spheres of focus.


- The role will offer candidates an opportunity to lead research and take decisions on investments.


Must have attributes: Comfortable to work in unstructured situations, well connected in the relevant ecosystem, clarity of thinking.
