Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Manager to lead end-to-end site operations, ensuring seamless execution, workforce management, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing industrial projects, coordinating multiple teams, and driving operational excellence on ground.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Execution
- Lead and manage day-to-day on-site installation activities with complete ownership of deliverables.
- Develop and implement work execution plans, ensuring timely progress aligned with project timelines.
- Oversee and coordinate site logistics, workflow optimization, and on-ground execution efficiency.
Team, Vendor & Subcontractor Management
- Manage manpower allocation, attendance, task assignment, and productivity tracking.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and quality KPIs.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and resolve operational challenges promptly.
Quality, Compliance & Safety Governance
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and inspection protocols.
- Enforce safety procedures and statutory regulations, conducting routine safety audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with internal QA/QC teams for inspections, approvals, and documentation.
Material & Resource Management
- Monitor daily material requirements, consumption, and inventory to avoid delays or wastage.
- Verify material quality upon receipt and maintain proper records of material reconciliation.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely availability of critical resources.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including work status, risks, and resource updates.
- Facilitate seamless communication between onsite teams, project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide data-driven insights for planning and decision-making.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management practices, and execution workflows.
- Expertise in reading drawings, BOQs, technical documentation, and work specifications.
- Excellent leadership, team handling, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project reporting tools, and site documentation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and statutory compliance requirements.
