Job Purpose:
The Reporting and Analytics Manager will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for transforming our vast amounts of information into clear, understandable insights that empower smarter business decisions. This role is about seeing the bigger picture in our data, making sense of complex trends, and ensuring our teams have the right information, presented in an easy-to-grasp way, to drive performance and achieve our goals. You'll be the bridge between raw numbers and strategic action, helping various departments understand their progress, identify opportunities, and overcome challenges.
Principal Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities:
- Dive deep into our company's data to uncover key trends, identify what's working well, and pinpoint areas that need attention.
- Translate complex data observations into clear, straightforward insights and practical recommendations that guide our business strategies and improve daily operations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into specific business questions, getting to the heart of issues and explaining their root causes.
- Design and build easy-to-understand reports and visual dashboards that effectively track our most important business measures and performance indicators.
- Ensure that all reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time to the relevant teams.
- Work towards automating how we create these reports, making the process smoother and more efficient.
- Collaborate closely with leaders and teams across the company (like Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development) to truly understand what information they need to succeed.
- Clearly communicate complex data findings and recommendations to people who may not be experts in numbers, helping them make informed decisions.
- Become the go-to person for questions about our data and what it means for the business.
- Champion the accuracy and reliability of all the information we use for reporting and analysis.
- Help establish and maintain clear standards for how we define and use our data, ensuring everyone is working from the same playbook.
- Proactively identify and help resolve any inconsistencies or quality issues with our information.
- Continuously look for ways to enhance how we gather, analyze, and report data, always aiming for more efficiency and better results.
- Stay informed about new approaches and best practices in understanding business performance, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them develop their skills in understanding and presenting data.
- Contribute to building a strong culture of data-driven thinking across the organization.

- Comfortable working with large sets of information and using various tools to organize and understand them (e.g., strong command of spreadsheet software, and experience with reporting and visualization platforms).
Formal Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in a field that emphasizes analytical thinking, such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Years of Relevant Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 7 to 8 years of progressive experience in roles focused on understanding business performance, creating reports, and providing insights that help organizations make better decisions.
