About Equilibrium:
Equilibrium is a carbon removal company at the forefront of developing nature-based carbon removal projects in the Global South, each guided by our three core pillars - high-integrity, high-quality, and high-impact. With an aim to make carbon projects bankable, the projects are designed with an emphasis on technology, robust scientific research, expert implementation partnerships, and innovative blended finance mechanisms. We are currently originating six projects across Central and South India, focused on Regenerative Agriculture, Agroforestry, Mangroves Restoration and Biochar Production. With over 100,000 farmers & 150,000 hectares in the pipeline, Equilibrium is on the path to generate approximately 1 million carbon credits annually.
We are seeking a highly competent and driven individual to join our team as the Marketing Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, objectives, target markets, and customer segments.
- Manage the company's online presence, including creating and executing a social media calendar, handling inboxes, engaging with other accounts, and staying on top of trends.
- Own and scale ongoing assets and campaigns - Blog, Website, Newsletter and content creation across platforms and formats, including basic video editing, and design. Should be an expert copywriter.
- Enhance and maintain the company's brand identity with consistent messaging that communicates the mission, values, and product offerings.
- Support the projects team and other teams with ad-hoc marketing requests as needed.
- Identify external marketing opportunities like events we could present at, podcasts we could be guests on, e-magazines we could publish on, etc to scale our presence on right channels.
- Lead co-marketing efforts with brand partners, project implementation partners to position them as environmental champions through multi-channel campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A successful applicant must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of work experience in marketing, preferably in a fast-paced environment and from the impact industry. Content writing and marketing experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
