Job Description: Sales Leader Informed InvestoRR

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to drive growth for our flagship Informed InvestoRR (Financial Education) division. The ideal candidate is a proven performer in direct-to-consumer consultative sales, with a strong track record of exceeding targets in competitive environments. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, team leadership, and hands-on sales execution to scale our business and establish Equentis as a leader in financial education.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Target Achievement
- Own the sales and revenue targets for the EdTech/Financial Education division.
- Design and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual enrolment goals.
- Oversee end-to-end sales processes including lead generation, product demonstrations, negotiations, closures, and post-sales relationship management.
- Ensure high conversion rates by creating urgency and nurturing prospects effectively.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 812 Sales Counsellors/Executives.
- Drive a performance culture by setting clear KPIs, monitoring productivity, and conducting regular reviews.
- Train and coach sales teams on consultative selling techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Foster a high-energy, competitive yet collaborative environment that consistently produces top performers.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and tap into new market segments and customer acquisition channels (students, professionals, corporates).
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with corporates, educational institutions, and industry associations to drive bulk enrolments.
- Organize and manage seminars, workshops, roadshows, and exhibitions to promote Informed InvestoRR courses and build brand visibility.
- Develop corporate tie-ups for employee upskilling programs and financial education workshops.
Brand Advocacy & Customer Experience
- Position and communicate the unique value proposition of the Informed InvestoRR model (online/offline learning).
- Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring exceptional service and long-term relationships with learners and investors.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve course offerings and sales processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Achievements
- 7+ years of proven experience in B2C sales, preferably in financial education, EdTech, BFSI, or high-ticket consultative sales.
- Consistently ranked in the top 10% of performers in highly competitive sales environments.
- Strong background in managing and scaling sales teams, with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional sales acumen with strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Deep understanding of sales funnels, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
- Strong leadership skills able to motivate, coach, and build high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
