The EPC Head - Business Development will be responsible for driving growth in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) vertical with a focus on solar projects, pumping systems, and water management infrastructure. The role involves business strategy, client acquisition, partnerships, and end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Strategy
- Identify and develop new EPC business opportunities in solar, infrastructure projects.
- Develop market entry strategies, partnerships, and alliances with government bodies, EPC contractors, and consultants.
- Lead bid management, RFP/RFQ responses, and techno-commercial negotiations.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, private clients, and channel partners.
- Represent Company in industry forums, exhibitions, and government tenders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Project Management & Execution
- Oversee EPC project lifecycle from concept, design, procurement, execution, to commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and on-site teams for timely project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
4. Financial & Commercial Accountability
- Own P&L responsibility for the EPC vertical.
- Optimize cost structures, resource allocation, and profitability.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and suggest growth strategies.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing EPC business development and project management team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and result-orientation.
