EPAM - Senior Role - Database Architect

Job Role : Database Architect-B2

Locations : Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Gurgaon / Chennai

Experience : 15-18 Years

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design and optimize enterprise-grade database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

- The role involves defining scalable architectures, ensuring high availability, and driving automation for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement solutions for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases(MongoDB, ElasticSearch).

- Design cloud-native database architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Ensure performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Lead data migration, integration, and automation initiatives using scripting and modern tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and optimized data platforms.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database teams.

Required Skills:

- Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases.

- Strong knowledge of cloud database services, high availability, and backup/recovery.

- Hands-on experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and analytics.

- Proficiency in automation and scripting for operational efficiency.
