EPAM - Infrastructure Solution Architect - IT Strategy & Transformation

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to lead enterprise-wide IT transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This is a strategic role focused on designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions, driving migration roadmaps, and ensuring seamless delivery across business-critical platforms.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management and strategic planning capabilities, enabling business continuity and operational efficiency through modern infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Solution Design:

- Define and execute infrastructure strategy, architecture, and modernization roadmaps aligned with business goals.

- Lead enterprise-level platform migration programs (e.g., RHEL upgrades, POSIT ecosystem transformations).

- Provide strategic direction on technology adoption, scalability, and cost optimization for infrastructure operations.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product teams, and business units to translate business needs into solution architectures.

- Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with enterprise technology standards and governance frameworks.

Program Management & Stakeholder Coordination:

- Oversee end-to-end infrastructure transformation programs, ensuring timely delivery and minimal business disruption.

- Partner with cross-functional teams including IT Operations, DevOps, Data, and Security to ensure integrated delivery.

- Drive risk assessment, capacity planning, and cutover strategies during environment transitions.

- Manage vendor and partner engagements, ensuring alignment with delivery and compliance goals.

Technology Governance & Best Practices:

- Establish best practices for infrastructure design, deployment, and lifecycle management.

- Guide teams on implementing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions across hybrid or cloud environments.

- Define KPIs and success metrics for platform stability, performance, and business impact.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 11-16 years of total experience, including at least 7 years in infrastructure architecture or solution delivery leadership.

- Proven success in leading enterprise infrastructure migration or transformation programs.

- Strong understanding of Linux administration, scripting, and RHEL platform management.

- Experience with POSIT (RStudio ecosystem), Docker, GitLab, and automation scripting (Python/Shell) preferred.

- Hands-on exposure to cutover strategy, environment management, and release governance.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to interface with senior business and technology leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in Technology Consulting / IT Infrastructure Management / Digital Transformation.

- Experience working with global enterprise clients in BFSI, IT Services, or Analytics domains.

- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, or Red Hat Certified Architect will be an advantage.
