Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in designing software products like terminal operating systems, work force management system, Job management systems. Product experience in the shipping, logistics, port, and terminal domain is definitely a plus . The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, designing software products, and translating business needs into technical solutions. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and other teams to create software products.

Key Responsibilities will be:

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

- Lead requirement gathering sessions with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and end-users, to define functional and non-functional requirements.

- Analyse business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

- Work with cross-functional teams to define user stories, workflows, and system use cases.

Product Design & Strategy:

- Creating and maintaining Product backlogs.

- Responsible for product planning and sprint execution.

- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to design and define innovative software solutions.

- Develop detailed business process models and ensure product alignment with business objectives.

- Ensure the designed product meets the needs of all stakeholders while maintaining a user-centric approach.

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs.

- Communicate project status, risks, and timelines to business leaders and other stakeholders.

- Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their pain points, challenges, and opportunities.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Support:

- Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC, providing business context to guide system design, testing, and implementation.

- Participate in Testing, ensuring that the solution meets business expectations and performs as intended.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements in business that can be addressed through technology solutions.

- Propose enhancements to existing software products based on user feedback, market trends, and evolving business needs.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

- Mentor junior business analysts and provide guidance on best practices in business analysis and product design.

- Lead workshops and training sessions for internal teams on new tools, systems, or processes.

Qualifications:

- Master's or Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Must have worked at client location in executing projects.

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on software product design.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions for customers.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers.

- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements documentation.

- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

- Experience with software tools for Documentation, wireframing, flow diagrams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex business requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
