Role Overview :
As an ETS (Environment, Transportation, and Safety) Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment. Your daily tasks will involve developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and HR, to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Your work will directly impact the well-being of our employees, the protection of our environment, and the overall success of our business operations in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies to minimize workplace hazards and environmental impact, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions, safeguarding employee well-being and preventing incidents.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Manage environmental compliance activities, including waste management, air emissions, and water discharge, to minimize environmental footprint and ensure sustainable operations.
- Provide EHS training and awareness programs to employees at all levels to promote a strong safety culture and ensure understanding of EHS responsibilities.
- Collaborate with external regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with EHS requirements and maintain positive relationships.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and communicate results to management.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement EHS programs and policies in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment in an on-site role in Bangalore.
