
Environment & Statutory Compliance Professional

About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced Environment & Statutory Compliance Professional to lead and manage environmental compliance, statutory approvals, and sustainability initiatives across operations.
- The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in environmental regulations, liaisoning with regulatory authorities, and driving EHS and ESG compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and obtain environmental clearances and statutory approvals including EC, CTE, and CTO.
- Prepare, review, and monitor EIA, EMP, and EHS reports and documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as MoEF&CC, SPCBs, and CPCB for approvals, audits, and compliance matters.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across sites and projects.
- Oversee the operation and compliance of ETP, STP, and ZLD systems.
- Conduct environmental audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Drive ESG, sustainability, and safety initiatives within the organization.
- Monitor changes in environmental laws and ensure timely implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external agencies for statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain compliance records, reports, and documentation as per regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance and statutory management.
- Strong understanding of environmental laws, pollution control norms, and EHS standards.
- Experience in handling EC, CTE, CTO, EIA, EMP, ESG, ETP/STP/ZLD operations, and statutory audits.
- Excellent stakeholder management and regulatory liaisoning skills.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale operations.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability practices.
- Certifications in EHS/ISO standards would be an added advantage.
