Description:

Role Overview:

The Project Finance Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end financial strategy, feasibility assessment, funding structuring, and execution of large-scale projects. The role involves advanced financial modelling, risk evaluation, compliance oversight, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are financially viable and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of project finance strategies for new and ongoing projects

- Conduct comprehensive financial feasibility studies including DCF, IRR, NPV, DSCR, and payback analysis

- Oversee creation, review, and refinement of complex project financial models

- Evaluate and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks across all project phases

- Monitor financial performance post closure and provide strategic recommendations for course correction

- Collaborate with engineering, legal, operations, and senior leadership to align financial decisions with project objectives

- Coordinate with external stakeholders including lenders, consultants, advisors, and legal teams

- Manage and review financial and legal documentation related to project funding

- Ensure timely regulatory filings, statutory disclosures, and compliance with financial governance norms

- Present project finance frameworks, funding structures, and performance metrics to executive leadership

- Support negotiations with banks, financial institutions, investors, and consortium partners

Required Skillsets:

- Strong expertise in project finance, corporate finance, and capital structuring

- Proficiency in advanced financial modelling (IRR, NPV, DSCR, scenario planning)

- Strong understanding of funding instruments, lender requirements, and credit evaluation

- Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, project documentation, and financial compliance

- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in risk modelling and project viability assessment

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects under pressure

- Strong negotiation skills with banks, financial institutions, and investors

Preferred Skillsets:

- Exposure to Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects

- Experience in BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) models or similar infrastructure project frameworks
