Enterprise Software Engineering Manager - Medical Devices/Aerospace

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Software Engineering Manager to lead software engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise software development, embedded software, product verification & validation, automation, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage enterprise software engineering teams and projects.

- Drive software development across the complete product lifecycle.

- Provide technical leadership for embedded software engineering initiatives.

- Establish and maintain software engineering processes, standards, and best practices.

- Lead Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for software/product development.

- Ensure software quality, reliability, traceability, and compliance with applicable industry processes.

- Drive test automation and quality engineering initiatives using tools such as Playwright.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, Systems Engineering, Hardware, and other cross-functional teams.

- Manage technical and business stakeholders across multiple projects.

- Mentor engineering teams and support hiring, performance management, and capability development.

- Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and process improvements.

- Manage project risks, dependencies, schedules, and delivery commitments.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in engineering leadership /management.

- Strong background in Enterprise Software Engineering.

- Experience with Embedded Software Development.

- Hands-on understanding of Software Verification & Validation.

- Experience with test automation and frameworks such as Playwright.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.

- Experience managing and mentoring software engineering teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience working in Medical Devices, Aerospace, or other regulated/high-reliability industries is highly desirable.

- Ability to work effectively across engineering, product, quality, and business functions.
