Enterprise Data Modeller

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Modeler to design and manage scalable data models across modern cloud data platforms. This role involves translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models while ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise platforms

- Translate business requirements into structured data models across domains (customer, product, finance, supply chain)

- Develop scalable schemas for cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift

- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to align data pipelines with models

- Define data standards, naming conventions, and metadata practices

- Support data governance, lineage tracking, and business glossary initiatives

- Ensure data models are optimized for analytics, performance, and interoperability

Mandatory Requirements:

- 714 years of experience in Data Modeling / Enterprise Data Architecture

- Strong hands-on experience with tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, SQLDBM, or similar

- Expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon), normalization, and schema design

- Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Dremio, etc.)

- Strong SQL and data validation skills

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred:

- Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview)

- Exposure to ETL/data pipelines (Informatica, DBT, Airflow)

- Understanding of MDM and reference data management

- Experience in high-tech or manufacturing data domains

Experience: 814 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred
