Enterprise Architect - FMCG/Retail

About the job:

We are looking for a strategic technology leader who can drive enterprise-wide architecture transformation, design scalable digital ecosystems, and work closely with business and technology leadership to shape the future technology landscape.

Role: Enterprise Architect

Location: Bangalore

Industry Preference: FMCG / Retail / Consumer Goods (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and drive enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

- Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions across applications, cloud, data, and integration platforms.

- Provide architecture leadership across complex, multi-vendor technology environments.

- Establish architecture principles, standards, and best practices across the organization.

- Collaborate with CXOs, business leaders, engineering teams, and partners to influence technology decisions.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve agility, scalability, and operational efficiency.

- Provide hands-on architecture guidance while balancing strategic vision with practical execution.

Must Have Skills & Experience:

- 10 - 15 years of IT / Technology leadership experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture roles

- Strong expertise in Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns

- Experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions

- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture and digital transformation approaches

- Experience working with multiple technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leadership

Good To Have:

- Experience in FMCG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or similar high-volume business environments

- Experience with Data Platforms, Analytics, AI/ML ecosystems, and modern data architecture

- Exposure to cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and automation practices

- Experience driving enterprise modernization programs

- TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture certifications preferred
